Anime Review - Witch Hunter Robin Hey Everyone! If you follow our blog then you may have seen our “ Top 10 Horror Anime List ” post from way back in 2017 and will probably be familiar with the anime Witch Hunter Robin. But with Halloween right around the corner, we thought we’d revisit this occult hit again. Like always you can check out our full anime review over on our Lazy Lion Youtube Channel where we cover the anime more in-depth, but here’s some bonus info we don’t mention in the video. A brief summary: Witch Hunter Robin is a 26 episode anime that was released by studio Sunrise in 2002. So another oldie but a goodie. It follows the story of Robin Sena, a fifteen-year-old girl, who has been sent by the witch-hunting organization SOLOMON, to work over at their branch in Japan, known as STN-J, after they lost one of their hunters. Quick side note - Hunters are people with the witch gene, but whose powers haven’t awoken yet and are known as Seeds for their potential to turn i...

Tricks and Treats     Halloween the spookiest day of the year, when the leaves start to fall off their bony branches, and the wind starts to howl. The one day a year when you can dress up as anything you wanna be!     In Last years’ comic Mandy dressed up as Batman declaring Justice has no gender and you can dress up as whoever you want. This prompted Rosie to want to dress up as the Flash the fastest person alive!     In this years’ comic we can see that she finally got to make her dream come true.  We can see her excitedly showing off how fast she is. So Fast! Sososo Fast!! The Fastest!!
Haru , our little mischief maker, couldn't just let her enjoy it... This comic was inspired by a Terry Pratchett quote that goes “Light thinks it travels faster than anything but it is wrong. No matter how fast light travels, it finds the darkness has always got there first, and is waiting for it.”    ...

Studio: CloverWorks  |  12 episodes  |  Watch on: Crunchyroll, Hulu, Funimation, Hidive   Anime Review: Promised Neverland     Horror is defined as “an overwhelming and painful feeling caused by something frightfully shocking, terrifying, or revolting; a shuddering fear”. Personally, we can’t think of a better word to describe Promised Neverland. Which is why we’re recommending it as 2019’s must-see Horror Anime – perfect for this spooky Month.     Not only does it have one of the best-told stories out of this year’s anime crop, it’s also guaranteed to have you sitting on the edge of your seat.  (We know we were)     It starts off innocently enough when we’re introduced to Emma, a girl living in an orphanage with 37 other children, and their caretaker Isabella whom/who they lovingly refer to as “Mother”. All of the children are under the age of 12, and Emma along with her t...

In the past, for Halloween I always looked at my favourite female superheroes/antiheroes for inspiration like Catwoman, Rogue, Storm, or Raven, but not this year. This year I’m going as the Dark Knight, the Caped Crusader, the World's Greatest Detective, I’m Batman (if only in this comic).     Batman was always my favourite superhero of all time; he didn’t have any special powers, he had the best villains, and he had great sense of justice and detective skills. Also who doesn’t like a dark and brooding hero?   Happy Halloween!      Stay Obsessed ~
