Just Bought Our Otakuthon Tickets

We just purchased our tickets for this years’ 2017 Otakuthon convention and are really excited! It will be held at the Palais-des-Congrés again, from August 4th-6th. For those of you who don’t know what Otakuthon is, it’s a convention held in Montreal every Summer showcasing Japanese pop-culture such as Anime, Manga, Gaming, Cosplay, JPop and much more. You can click on the link to find out more about the convention on Otakuthon’s official website. One thing we were delightfully surprised to find out is that Canadian YouTuber Tristan Gallant, better kn...

Hold up! I know what you may think, Misty is overdone at conventions and usually isn’t a cosplay with much effort. However, I grew up loving Misty and really wanted to do her character justice. Once I had my character chosen it was time to get to work. First I had to gather as many reference photos as I could, since I really wanted to do well on details and impress my fellow cosplayers despite ...
